22nd Convocation Ceremony at Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University rescheduled on 13th Aug 2024

We are excited to share an important update for all students, faculty, and staff at Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (AKTU). The much-anticipated 22nd Convocation Ceremony has been rescheduled to ensure that it is an event to remember for all attendees.

Originally planned for the morning of August 13, 2024, the convocation will now take place in the afternoon at a new time. We invite all members of our university community to join us in celebrating the hard-earned achievements of our AKTU graduates.

AKTU New Convocation Details:

Date: August 13, 2024

Time: 1:30 PM (previously scheduled for 10:30 AM)

Venue: Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium, University Campus, Lucknow

This convocation ceremony marks a significant milestone for our students, and it is a moment of pride for the entire university. We highly encourage everyone—students, faculty, and staff—to attend this event and support the graduates as they embark on their new journeys.

The ceremony will include the conferring of degrees to students from various disciplines, and we will also have speeches from distinguished guests and faculty members. It is an excellent opportunity to come together as a community and celebrate the hard work and dedication of our students.

Special Honors and Awards

During the convocation, the university will also recognize the top performers from the academic year 2023-2024. Among the graduates, students who have excelled in their respective fields of study will be awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals based on their rankings.

The top three students from the entire university who have achieved the highest scores in their undergraduate and postgraduate programs will receive these honors. The selection process was finalized during the 72nd Academic Council meeting held on August 8, 2024.

In addition to the university-wide honors, specific awards will be presented to students who have shown exceptional merit within their individual programs. Notably:

Chancellor’s Gold Medal: This prestigious award will be presented to Ms. Susri Jhalk Jain, who secured the first position in her academic program.

Kamla Rani Smriti Gold Medal: This special recognition will be awarded to Ms. Shubhi Singh, who ranked first among students from the Scheduled Caste category.

These awards highlight the university’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding academic excellence across all student categories.
