AKTU Odd Semester Exam Postponed and Rescheduled 2019-20

AKTU has officially announced that the odd semester exam which was scheduled on 23rd and 24th December 2019 at various examination centers across Uttar Pradesh (U.P.) is postponed for some reasons. The Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow previously known as UPTU has officially released a circular informing the students about the odd sem exam postponed for 23rd Dec and 24th Dec.

Earlier AKTU postponed the exam which was scheduled on 19th, 20th and 21st December 2019 which has been rescheduled to 5th,6th and 7th January 2020. but this time the university has not released the dates on which the exams of 23 and 24th December will be conducted. The AKTU university stated that due to some reason the odd sem exams have been postponed and did not mentioned the reason but as per the sources the AKTU odd semester exam is getting postponed because of the new Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) Protest nation wide. Uttar Pradesh is suffering from the CAA and NRC Protest in different regions of the state and may school, colleges are closed even there is a ban on Internet as well for sometime in many district of UP and this may be the reason.

AKTU officially released the postponed dates of the examination but did not share the rescheduled dates for these dates. However it is expected that these exams will be held in the 2nd week of the January 2020. Also, many students speculating that the the odd sem exam on 26th and 27th Dec will also be postponed but there is not any official input on this. Many students think this odd sem exam rescheduling is not fair because many competitive exam is also going to held on the same day like Indian Engineering Services IES 2020.

Well cancelling or postponing any exam is nothing new for AKTU University, it happens every time and every year. We wish you all the best for upcoming examinations.

Update – AKTU has officially announced that the 266th and 27th Decemeber Odd Sem Exam will not be potponsed and will be conducted as per teh schedule. Also, The dates for 23rd and 24th Dec exam dates will be announced tomorrow on 26th Dec 2019. It is expected that it will be conducted in 2nd week of January 2020.
