Canon brings a new addition in the EOS R family with the launch of all new full-frame mirrorless camera – Canon EOS RP. Canon India unveils the EOS RP in an event held in New Delhi. The Prices of Canon EOS RP Body is Rs 110,495 and with Kit lens it costs Rs 199,490. Canon claims thaat the EOS RP is the most lightest and smallest full frame mirrorless camera which has a 26.2 Megapixel dual pixel CMOS sensor, 4K video recording and 0.05s focusing speed.
Canon EOS RP sports a DIGIC 8 Image Processor that claims to capture high-quality images with very fine details it also has a in-camera Digital Lens Optimizer (DLO) that corrects aberrations, diffraction and optical distortions as you shoot. It has the Auto lighting optimizer feature that balances the light in low light conditions.
Canon EOS RP is equipped with RF lens mount introduced in the EOS R which has a short flange focal distance of 20mm. Its native ISO range of 100 – 40,000 which can be expanded to ISO range 50 – 102,400.
One interesting part of the canon EOS RP series is that it has dual sensing IS that detects camera shakes fron its gyroscopic sensor and the CMOS sensor provides Image stabilization. Some of the EOS R series lenses are as follows-
