Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12th Result 2017 will not be decalred today. According to the sources as per the Delhi High Court order today on CBSE moderation policy the class 12th result is delayed for above said reasons. CBSE Class 12th result 2017 was expected to be decalred today at 24th May 2017 but now it is delayed for further notification.
Many class 12th students across the country were eagerly waiting for the result to be announced today and sitting next to the computer on cbseresults.nic.in
The Delhi High Court today directed the CBSE to follow its ‘moderation policy’ of giving grace marks to students for difficult questions. The courts termed it as unfair and irresponsible. The court asked the CBSE Board to continue with the policy which was in place when the examination forms were submitted last year. A bench of Acting Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice Pratibha M Singh passed the interim order on a PIL filed by a parent and a lawyer contending that the policy should not be done away with this year, as decided by some states, since it would affect the students of Class 12, particularly those who have applied for admissions abroad for further studies.
As per the sources CBSE officials said that it would not effect the CBSE Result 2017 because the result is made scientifically and there will be not much delay on Results. Today, HRD ministry also had an emergency meeting on this issue.
