Cheetah Mobile to showcase new platform at Global Mobile Internet Conference, Bangalore

Cheetah Mobile, the leading developer of mission-critical mobile utility applications, will be showcasing its latest technology at the third edition of Global Mobile Internet Conference (GMIC) to be held in Bangalore on November 16th and 17th, 2016. Aside from being an exhibitor, Cheetah Mobile has organized a Connect 2016 Bangalore seminar on the inaugural day.  Morden Chen, General Manager of Cheetah Mobile Asia Pacific Business; James Gao, VP, GM of Global Strategic Partnerships; Mahua Zhou, Director of Data Products and Commercialization;  and Jenny Quan, Executive Dean of Cheetah Global Lab will lead the seminar.

Cheetah Mobile, a leading mobile internet company, is known for its products like Clean Master and CM Security which are among the most downloaded mobile applications on Google Play. It has recently rolled out WhatsCall, an app that allows users to make free calls to any mobile or landline across the world and Live.me, a mobile streaming app that is helping broadcasters make a living from livestreaming. Its latest acquisition of News Republic, a news aggregator, has accelerated it move into content generation.

The company is planning to unveil new functions to their Ad Platform, Orion 3.0, its latest offering in mobile advertising strategy as well as showcase other technology at their set up in the conference. There will also be a panel discussion featuring the; Head of Media, Flipkart; and representatives from Moca and Smile Vun Group (SVG).

Cheetah Mobile entered the market in May 2015 and has since considerably expanded its presence in India. Their collaboration with Micromax, one of the biggest home grown mobile phone brands in India, is one among many such critical partnerships in India.

Cheetah Mobile has over 500 clients globally, including Amazon, Flipkart, Voonik, Saavn Music, TVF Play, Fame in India. The company has also formed partnerships with global internet giants like Facebook and Google which will enhance the company’s mobile and global monetization capabilities.

Cheetah Mobile Connect Seminar will include a demonstration of the platform by Morden Chen, General Manager, Cheetah Mobile Asia Pacific Business. The agenda also includes

  • Mr. James Gao, General Manager, Global Strategic Partnerships, giving a talk on Cheetah’s Mobile’s Initiative & Vision
  • Mr. Mahua Gao, Director of Data Products and Commercialisation, BU, giving insights into the Global Mobile Market.

Cheetah Mobile Mobile Connect Seminar will be held at the Strategy Room between 2 pm to 5 pm on the 16th of November. Attendees can also visit the Cheetah Mobile Stall P2 to find out more about the various mobile ad solution technologies that Cheetah Mobile provides from its representatives.
