InFocus has recently launched its brand new smartphone InFocus Snap 4 and Turbo 5 Plus on 13th September at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi. Today we will review the InFocus turbo 5 Plus. I have used this device for a week as my primary smartphone and the results were different and shocking which you can read in our detailed review below. The InFocus Turbo 5 Plus comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM along with the 13 MP dual rear and 5MP front camera and a powerful 4850 mah battery backup. The device which we received was in royal gold color.
InFocus Turbo 5 Plus is priced at Rs 8999; This is a fair pricing of this device in budget range dual camera smartphone segment. The InFocus Turbo 5 Plus is exclusively available on Amazon. InFocus India launched the InFocus Turbo 5 in June 2017, and now they have announced this amazing device Turbo 5+, We used this smartphone for a couple of days and here are our thoughts.
The Turbo 5Plus offers a rich experience with intelligent and stylish features, The device comes in royal gold color. Whereas the front design is also beautiful with a multitasking fingerprint sensor and It has stellar 5.5” screen IPS Panel display, it has 2.5D curved glass display with 720×1280 IPS HD resolution.
The smartphone weighs 175 gms and it has sleek uni-body metal finish which adds style to this device. The speakers are given at the bottom for better sound experience.
InFocus Turbo 5 Plus has a powerful 64 Bit 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 Octa Core processor, It has high capacity 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory which is enough for any budget smartphone as it also has expandable memory upto 64 GB. After using this phone we found that the performance was average and can compete with any budget range smartphone, it has benchmark score of 40755.
The HD Videos and games can be played well if you are not using too many apps. The multitasking fingerprint sensor works very well, it is fast and responsive to secure your data and gives you quick response experience.
The InFocus Turbo 5 Plus flaunts 13MP dual rear camera and 5MP front camera with Dual LED Flash Light and Digital Zoom. The Dual camera was somewhat disappointing for lowlights pictures but in daylight it was great. As far as the budget range is considered the camera was average.
Here are the Camera Samples:-
The InFocus Turbo 5+ sports the latest Android 7.0 Nougat which gives you complete pure Android experience. The Phone does not lag much, and you can easily do multi-task, The Turbo 5 Plus doesn’t have any other Physical Buttons apart from the side panel and Fingerprint Button. It has complete software buttons for enriching touch experience.
However, we found that there was too much space left below and above the screen which many users does not like. Also, it comes with already installed apps which you will not be able to uninstall but you can disable the app.
This is the most attractive and important part of this device which you will love it, InFocus Turbo 5 Plus is equipped with long-lasting 4850mAh battery which lasts upto 34 days of standby time, It gets charged within 3 hours completely and can give you backup for throughout the day even by aggressive usage to gaming, watching videos, the internet over WiFi and cellular data or using camera.
