MHRD will Rank Engineering & Management Institutes of India

Recently in the global ranking of Higher education institutes around the world by International agencies, No Indian Institute made a place in global ranking and that is the reason why the Government of India is coming with a new idea for which the credit goes to Narendra Modi. Today, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) officially announced that now a new Framework is designed to Rank Indian Institutes in our country. Earlier some private agencies of India use to rank engineering & management institutes of india. These agencies also take money from the engineering colleges & management college to Rank them in the Top List of Indian Institute ranking.

Hence, The Ranking of Indian institutes is getting worse, This is the great step by MHRD that now they will Rank engineering & management institutes of India. This year the Ranking will come in April 2016 in next year. A new methodology called the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) to Rank Indian Institutes across the country.

“This is the first time that a reliable, transparent and authentic ranking system is being implemented in the country for Higher Education. The primary purpose of this framework is to galvanize Indian institutions towards a competitive environment that exists in the world today. I sincerely hope that institutions will use this ranking framework to introspect and make sincere efforts to improve their standing,” Smriti Irani said in the framework’s document to India Today

The Ranking of Institutes for Higher Education will make impact in the country in terms of education and bringing a quality of education and students. The parameters on which the NIRF Framework will work to Rank Indian Institutes are Teaching, Learning and Resources, Research, Professional Practices, Collaborative Performance,Perception,Graduation Outcomes,Outreach and Inclusivity.

This will definitely help students to find a good institute for admission as well as for Educational institute to maintain their quality of education to come in to ranking.
