Insurance Regulatory Authority of India & Transport Department passed a new Motor Vehicle Act 2014. Vehicles who don’t have insurance will cost Rs 10,000 to 75,000 depend on vehicle to vehicle, below is the list of fines for the two wheeler & four wheeler according to the new act.
Fine:
Two Wheeler –Â
Without helmet Rs. 500
Without PUC Rs. 500
Without insurance Rs. 10000
Without paper Rs. 500
and go to Vehicle court to release vehicle.
Without licence Rs.10000
and vehicle confiscate.
Three savari Rs. 1000
All papers should be carried while Driving.
Four Wheeler –
Without Belt Rs. 1000
Without PUCÂ Rs. 1500
Without insurance Rs. 10000
Without paper Rs. 5000
and go to Vehicle court to release vehicle.
Without licence Rs.10000
and vehicle will be confiscated along with all papers.
Mobile while driving Rs. 5000.
Three time Memo, then Licence will be confiscated in both two and four wheelers.
It will be Effected from tomorrow.
