New List of 24 Fake Universities/Colleges in India by UGC 2020

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has released 24 lists of fake universities in India for this year 2020 – 21 to aware the students and their parents to not take admission in these universities/colleges as their degree is not valid. In the interest of students and the public at large, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has released the list of 24 fake Universities. UGC has released the all-new 24 Fake colleges in India which are same as we reported in the year 2014, 2016 and 2018. Uttar Pradesh and Delhi have the most number of fake universities. The below list of 24 fake colleges/university is not recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) and hence it is recommended to avoid these colleges before taking admission

The University Grants Commission Act, 1956 under Section 22(1) provides that a degree can be awarded, only by a University established under a Central, State/Provincial Act or an Institution deemed to be university under Section 3 of the UGC Act or an Institution especially empowered by an Act of Parliament to confer the degree. Further, Section 23 of the UGC Act prohibits the use of the word ‘University’ by any institution other than a university established as stated above.

Students and Public at large are hereby informed that presently following 24 self-styled, unrecognized institutions are functioning in contravention of the UGC Act, which has been declared as fake universities and these are not empowered to confer any degree:
