RBI to Bring Back One Rupee Notes Again

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is all set to bring back the one rupee notes again in circulation in India which was discontinued a 2 decades ago. yes, that’s true after 20 years the one rupee notes will be back again soon said RBI in an interview. The Printing of one rupee notes was discontinued about 20 years ago, In 1994 the printing of one rupee ( Rs 1 or  â‚¹ 1) was stopped due to higher printing of denominations.

right now RBI Currently print  Rs 10, Rs 20, Rs 50, Rs 100, Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 denominations currency & now Rs 1 will be added soon. Yes, this was also in news that RBI is going to launch Plastic notes that’s also true, the Plastic notes will be released this year in 2015 & will be on trial only some of the selected cities. \

“The RBI will soon put in circulation currency notes in one rupee denomination. The notes will be printed by the Government of India, it will be issued by Government of India, It will bear signature of Finance Secretary not RBI Governor, it will also have some of the different colors unlike the previous one” the Reserve Bank said recently

The old Memories will also be back with the one rupee note & its value.
