VIVO replaces as Title Sponsor for IPL after Pepsi’s withdrawal

This is a Breaking News that after the Pepsi’s withdrawal from IPL Sponsorship Now, VIVO a Chinese Mobile Phone maker company is all set to replace Pepsi as a Title sponsor of Indian Premier League (IPL). PepsiCo itself pulled out themselves from the IPL as it’s now confirmed that Pepsi will now no longer sponsor IPL. Recently Pepsi said that we will not sponsor the controversial IPL due to its Spot-fixing scandal. Pepsi said the image of IPL & our brand may lay down due to spot-fixing in IPL in past years.

After the Pepsi Notice BCCI was in talk with Pepsi to fix the issue and resolve the matter for the Title sponsor but Pepsico was not going to sponsor IPL again due to bad image of the game. After the confirmation VIVO bags a two year as a Title sponsorship for IPL (Indian Premier League). PayTM is already having 4 year title sponsorship of India now the Chinese Mobile Phone Company VIVO gets 2 year title sponsorship of IPL. Also for IPL 2016 Rajasthan Royal (RR) & Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will be playing IPL next year as BBCI took the decision today and a 2 new teams will also play IPL 2016.
