#NEET 2020 – The Minister of Education Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank informed that 85 to 90% students appeared in NEET Exam today. The arrangements made by NTA was appreciated by the minister. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate), formerly the All India Pre-Medical Test NEET exam was scheduled today on 13th September amid protest from the student’s nationwide to postpone the exam due to COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country, but as per the government sources and NTA the participation from the students who took the NEET 2020 exam was very good.
The Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal took to twitter and said “NTA informed me that around 85-90% students appeared in #NEET exam today. I sincerely thank all Chief Ministers and @DG_NTA for proper arrangements made to facilitate student participation. #NEET participation reflects the tenacity and grit of young #AtmaNirbharBharat.”

Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal also further said that “Today on successful completion of the prestigious #NEET exam, I would like to congratulate all the candidates and their parents that they participated in the #NEET exam with full enthusiasm.”
“I am happy that the country stood firm with the decision of the Central Government to conduct the NEET and JEE examinations. Thanks to all the State Governments and National Testing Agency for the excellent arrangements made for the convenience and safety of the candidates!” He added
The Medical Entrance Exam National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) was conducted today as pen and paper exam across 3862 centres with proper Covid-19 SOPs and protocols followed. This year approx 15.97 NEET students registered for the exam and downloaded the neet admit card. Many Students were having mixed reviews about exam COVID-19 SOP, some said the arrangements were top notch at the centres whereas some said it was not good and social distancing was not followed, However, students who travelled from a distant did face issue in travelling to the centre due to unavailability of public transport.
When we asked about the How was the NEET exam paper? the students said that the paper was easy they were able to attempt most of the questions easily, it was mainly based on a set of NCERT level of questions.
