The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Class 10 results for 2024. However, in line with recent trends to curb unhealthy competition, the board has decided not to release an official merit list. Instead, merit certificates will be awarded to the top 0.1% of students in each subject, accessible through their DigiLocker accounts.

The CBSE Class 10 results for 2024 have been announced, bringing joy and relief to students across the nation. This year, the board continues its policy of not publishing an official toppers list to promote a healthier academic environment. Despite this, many students have demonstrated exceptional performance, achieving top marks in their examinations.

Among the standout achievers are Avi Saraf with an impressive 97.8% and Aanya Singhal who scored 96.6%. Both students hail from the renowned Shiv Nadar School, which has seen several of its students excel this year. Other notable performers include Ania Gupta with 95.2%, and Hidya Bhatia, Arnav Mittal, and Parth Sharma, each securing 95%.

The decision to award merit certificates to the top 0.1% of students in each subject ensures that high achievers are recognized for their hard work and dedication. These certificates can be accessed through the DigiLocker app, making the process streamlined and accessible.

The absence of an official merit list highlights the board’s commitment to reducing stress and competition among students, encouraging them to focus on holistic development rather than merely chasing ranks. This approach aligns with the broader educational goals of fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

As we celebrate these young scholars, it’s important to remember that every student’s effort is valuable. The journey through Class 10 is a significant milestone, laying the foundation for future academic and personal successes.

Congratulations to all the students who have passed their Class 10 examinations. Your hard work and perseverance have paid off, and this is just the beginning of many more achievements to come.
