Instagram introduced ‘Reels’ in India a short form video-sharing feature in the Instagram app. Facebook has been testing the TikTok rival app and now finally they started rolling out in India amid TikTok and other 58 Chinese app ban in India and took this opportunity. Instagram’s Reels will let users record 15 seconds short video adding video and audio clips.
Facebook shuts down its previous TikTok clone app and now launches Instagram reels which is same as Tiktok like features but with the different user interface. Indian apps like Chingari, Roposo, Khabri, Bolo India are already taking advantage of this Chinese app ban and making space in the store.
Instagram reels video can also be found on the Explore tab and you can just keep swiping up for new videos from the creators. creators can Create, record and edit short videos and share them to explore, where anyone may discover them. There are other small features as well, user need not update or download the Instagram app again, to get the reels you just need to click on your camera icon in Instagram page and swipe right where you will see Live, Story and Reels.
