In a significant move towards enhancing customer convenience and engagement, Ola Cabs has announced the re-launch of its much-anticipated Ola Share feature. This service allows passengers to share their rides with co-passengers, making it a cost-effective and environmentally friendly option. The reintroduction of Ola Share is part of Ola’s broader strategy to offer flexible and economical travel solutions to its users. Starting today, the service is available in Bengaluru, with plans to scale up to other cities in the coming weeks.
In addition to Ola Share, the company has also unveiled the Ola Coins loyalty program. This new feature allows users to earn Ola Coins with every transaction made on the app. These coins can be accumulated and redeemed for bonuses and discounts on future rides. The loyalty program aims to reward frequent users and enhance their overall experience with Ola Cabs.
The news was shared by Bhavesh Aggarwal, the founder of Ola, during the ‘Sankalp’ event held today, coinciding with India’s 78th Independence Day. Bhavesh emphasized that these initiatives are part of Ola’s commitment to offering innovative solutions that cater to the evolving needs of its customers.
He also added “Ola Cabs is my first love, Ola Krutrim is the youngest child!” Also, Ola Cabs is Changing company name to Ola Consumer. Will solve larger consumer problem statements over and above mobility.
