Ola Electric Unveils Roadster Series E-Motorcycles, Starting at Just ₹74,999

Ola Electric has introduced a new lineup of e-motorcycles called the Roadster Series. This series includes three models: the Roadster XRoadster, and Roadster Pro, each designed to meet different needs. Prices start at ₹74,999, making these electric bikes affordable for many people.

Roadster X: Budget-Friendly and Reliable

The Roadster X is the most affordable option in the series, starting at just ₹74,999. It comes with a 2.5 kWh battery that offers a range of 200 km on a single charge. With a top speed of 124 km/h and the ability to go from 0-40 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, the Roadster X is a great choice for those looking for an economical yet powerful ride.

Roadster: A Step Up in Performance

For those who want more power, the Ola Roadster offers a good mix of performance and price. It starts at ₹1,04,999 for the 2.5 kWh version and is also available in 4.5 kWh and 6 kWh versions, priced at ₹1,19,999 and ₹1,39,999 respectively. The Roadster can go from 0-40 km/h in just 2.2 seconds and can cover up to 579 km on a single charge. It also features a 7-inch touchscreen and stylish diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Roadster Pro: The Ultimate Ride

The Roadster Pro is the premium option in the series, with prices starting at ₹1,99,999 for the 8 kWh version and ₹2,49,999 for the 16 kWh version. This model offers top speeds of 194 km/h and can accelerate from 0-40 km/h in just 1.2 seconds. It comes with a 10-inch touchscreen display, four riding modes (Hyper, Sport, Normal, Eco), and two customizable modes. In the future, the Roadster Pro will also get advanced features. These include traction control and anti-wheelie with the MoveOS 5 software update.

Advanced Battery Technology

The Roadster Series also features the new Bharat Cell (4680) Li-ion battery technology. This technology offers 5 times more energy, charges 1.5 times faster, and provides 10% more range. It’s expected to be available from April 2025.

Ola E-Bike Delivery Schedule

Deliveries for the Roadster X and Roadster models will begin in January 2025, while the Roadster Pro will be available from Diwali 2025. With these new e-motorcycles, Ola Electric aims to offer a mix of affordability, performance, and advanced technology.

Ola Also launched the Ola Cabs Share ride and Ola coins. They also introduced the Krutrim app, Krutrim AI, Ola Krutrim Cloud, and Ola Maps.
