WHY INDIA LACKS BEHIND IN EDUCATION
It is a proven fact in the context of education in India that talent is probably not the only thing you will be requiring to succeed in the field of studies. The students in India are much more talented than those in any other country but the unfortunate scheme of affairs are such that the chances of excelling through education are more often than not given to only those who are able to afford some sort of an expensive method of education. This as actually led to the wastage of a lot of our in born talent and have thereby stalled our development in some terms if not all.
THE GOVERNMENTS HAVE DISSAPOINTED
It becomes very important therefore, in a country with such scantiness of funds for education that are available with the general population that the intervention of the government on a serious level is promoted. With years passing by from the independence of India in 1947, although the levels of poverty have come down significantly but the decline in the poverty rates are is still not enough for a large population as that of India that it can be expected from all common citizens to invest in the education of their children. This leaves us with the only pertinent question then, that what should and what has the government done for addressing this key issue of modern day India.
SCHOLARSHIP SCHEMES IN INDIA
The answer lies in the implementation of scholarship schemes in the country which has been done with effectiveness from as early as just after the country gained independence. The governments that have existed in our countries have been overlooking this plight of the needy students who are willing to attain education but are bound just by the lack of funds. The governments work towards every sector of the economy without a doubt, but what needs to be seen is the amount in which these schemes are launched. Scholarships schemes require a continuous and comprehensive involvement from the Government side but sadly this has not happened for a while now.
Today, a large number of scholarships that are being offered at both the state as well central levels all across the country.
