Update – AKTU Special Over Exam 2017-18

This is blog is exclusively for the AKTU students who are eagerly waiting for the Special Carry Over Exam for this academic year 2017-2018. Many AKTU students are still confused and want to know whether the university will conduct any Special carry over Exam or not. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), previously known as UPTU has already announced last year that they will not be conducting any special carry over exam from 2017.

We at Engineers Corner receive so many emails, facebook messages, feedback, WhatsApp etc about the AKTU special carry over exam (SCOPE) and we were the only online media who covered this story from day one. Check the below details for more information on AKTU Special Carry Over exam and mercy exam.

AKTU Special Carry Over Exam

From the last couple of years, AKTU/UPTU special carry over exam has become a point of focus. Special carry over exam is conducted for all the students who had a back paper or failed in any particular subject. Also, students who have status like PCP/FAIL/PTNS other than pass students can apply for SCOPE exam which gives them a chance to clear their back paper.

Now, we want to inform you all that AKTU university shall not conduct any special carry over exam in near future because it has implemented CBCS (Choice Based Credit System)  rule in which a student who gets at least 50% or more credits in Theory & Practical both will be Promoted to next semester or say next year earlier it was 60%. Along with the CBCS rule university has also started giving a 40 grace marks rule in a year which is also the reason why AKTU is not conducting any special carry over exam or mercy exam in any circumstances. The above-said rule is applied for every 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th-year students irrespective of their courses and branch.

AKTU Special Carry Over Exam

All the AKTU students who want to clear their back paper has to appear in regular carry over exam which is conducted at the end of odd and even sem along with the semester exam.

      special carry over ki pariksha khatam karna ek behud galat nirnaye tha par iss saal ho sakta hai scop -2018 mujhe sampark kare.

    • not also , only for passout students !! 40 marks as a mercy
      but there is one condition , u should hv 2 get min. 15 marks in your back paper then this condition will be apply on ur reult

      • Sir i complete my btech, only one subject is left. Which have 17 marks and i don’t use grace marks in all 8 semester. All 40 marks are safe.. Then university pass me in that subject or not. i need 13 marks to pass that subject

  4. स्पेशल कैरी ओवर एग्जाम पास आउट बच्चों के लिएअभी तक कोई लिंक नहीं आया है कैरी ओवर का फॉर्म भरा जा रहा है समेस्टर 1 3 5 7 का ही आप भर सकते हैं सेमेस्टर 2 4 6 8 का कोई लिंक नहीं आया है पास आउट बच्चों के लिए स्पेशल कैरी ओवर एग्जाम कराने के लिए तीन चार बार स्ट्राइक हुई बच्चे कम होने की वजह से स्ट्राइक असफल रही पास आउट हजारों बच्चों को स्पेशल कैरी ओवर एग्जाम की आवश्यकता है आते 50 भी नहीं है
    यहां कमेंट करने से कुछ नहीं होगा स्पेशल कैरी ओवर एग्जाम कराने के लिए आपको घर से बाहर निकलना पड़ेगा JP पांडे जी ने पिछले स्ट्राइक में मौखिक रूप से 15 दिन के अंदर स्पेशल कैरी ओवर एग्जाम का लिंक आने को कहा था
    वह समय 28 को पूरा हो जाएगा अगर 28 तारीख तक लिंक नहीं आता है तो फिर स्ट्राइक किया जाएगा
    यह आखरी समय है अगर अब आप सब मिल के स्ट्राइक करने नही आये तो कैरी ओवर पेपर देना होगा और आपके पासिंग सर्टिफिकेट में एक साल और जुड़ जाएगा मतलब आप 4 साल के जगह 5 साल में अपना कोर्स कम्पलीट करेंगे। इसलिए पिछले 2 साल से लड़के स्ट्राइक कर के स्पेशल के एग्जाम करा रहे हैं। जबकि पहले 4th yearऔर 1st year में scop हमेशा होता था।
    आप सभी से अनुरोध है स्ट्राइक में अधिक से अधिक संख्या में आये और इस msg को अपने दोस्तों से भी share करे|

  5. I will come for the strike if special carry over is not conducted this year. AKTU releases a circular for CBCS and that 40 marks grace will be given in any subject of any semester to which our college, ABES IT ghaziabad, says that only 15 marks are to be given as grace instead of 40. What is this nonsense university does not own up to its words. I won’t ever advise anyone to take admission into this university !

  6. Hello Yatharth. There’s a big confusion that i have about the grace marks. In three subjects i got 23(4th year), 24(3rd year) and 17(2nd year). I got grace marks in the ones which i got 23 and 24 but not in the 17 one. Why is it so even after the 40 marks rule? Also i’m a 13-17 batch student. I’ll be very grateful if u can help me clear this confusion. Thanks in advance.

  19. Hii sir, I and many others like me who have passed out are in utter need of scop. It is a humble request to our university to kindly give us one last opportunity to clear our backlogs. Please conduct the special carry over exam 2017-18 atleast along with the regular even semester exam in May-June 2018.

    Hope you will do the most needed help. We will be immensely thankful to AKTU forever.

I had a carryover in human values in 3rd semester but later in next year my marks in internal and external both got changed automatically (from 21 to 17 (Internal) and 13 to 21 (External) but I didn’t see that and gave carryover in 7th semester and got 27 marks, so which internal and external marks would be consider?
