UPSEE 2017 – Full Counselling Schedule, Counselling Procedure, Fees, Seat Allotment

UPSEE 2017 Counselling Schedule & Procedure is officially announced by the University AKTU. Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE – 2017) result is already announced and counselling procedure is started for admission in various courses of AKTU/UPTU like B.Tech, B.Arch,B.FAD,BFA, BHMCT, B.Pharma, M.Tech,MBA,MCA etc.

AKTU UPSEE 2017 1st round, 2nd round, 3rd round, 4th round and 5th round Counselling schedule is given below. A Special round of counselling will also be conducted for UPSEE 2017. Please check the below counselling schedule, counselling procedure for UPSEE 2017 counselling dates, registration, and choice locking.

UPSEE 2017 First Round of Counselling (Main) –

  • June 19 – June 24, 2017 Registration, payment of registration fee and Document Uploading (by the candidates) [Registration through website http://upsee.nic.in using Application Number and Password created at the time UPSEE-2017 online form submission Online Submission of Registration Fee using Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet Banking through login on the website upsee.nic.in : Rs 20000 for GENERAL / OBC candidates Rs 12000 for SC/ST Candidates [Note: This fee shall be adjusted against Institute fee at the time of admission in the Allotted Institute of the candidate.]
  • June 20 – June 25, 2017 – Document Verification (by the AKTU)
  • June 20 – June 26, 2017 – Display of Seats and Online Choice Filling through website http://upsee.nic.in using Application Number and Password.
  • June 20 – June 26, 2017 – First round choice locking
  • June 29, 2017  -Allotment of Result: Declared on the website http://upsee.nic.in Seat Allotment Result
  • June 29 – July 2, 2017 – Online Willingness by the candidate (Freeze, Float or Withdraw)

Confirmation/Acceptance of allotted Seat: The candidate, who has been allotted a seat, is required to exercise one of the following options through website http://upsee.nic.in:

  • A. FREEZE Option: A candidate, who is satisfied with the presently allotted seat to him and does not want to be considered for upgradation of seat in any subsequent rounds of counselling, is required to opt for the FREEZE option. The registration fee submitted by the candidate shall be adjusted against Institute fee at the time of admission in the Allotted Institute of the candidate. The candidate, after exercising this option must download and print his/her Provisional Allotment Letter. If the candidate does not report for admission in the allotted institute within the specified period, the seat allotted to him shall stand automatically cancelled and his/her registration fee shall be forfeited and he/she shall not be eligible for refund.
  • B. FLOAT Option: A candidate, who wants to confirm the seat presently allotted to him and also at the same time wants to be considered for upgradation of seat in the 2nd Round of counselling on the basis of his/her already filled choices, is required to opt for the FLOAT option. Registration Fee submitted by the candidate shall be adjusted against Institute fee at the time of admission in the Allotted Institute of the candidate.
  • C. WITHDRAW Option: A candidate, who is not satisfied with the presently allotted seat to him/her and does not want to be considered for allotment in any subsequent rounds of counselling, should opt for the WITHDRAW option. The candidates, who opt this WITHDRAW option, will be treated to have withdrawn from the ALL the remaining rounds of counselling (1 to 5) and he will be able to participate only in the SPOT round of counselling. The seat allotted to such candidates will be cancelled and shall be treated vacant. The registration fee of such candidates, after deduction of administrative charges with a rate of Rs 2000 per round of counselling in which the candidate has participated, shall be refunded online in the same account (as provided by the candidate).
  • Important Note: If a candidate does not choose any of the above options during the specified period, he/she will be automatically treated as WITHDRAWN from ALL the remaining rounds of counselling. The seat allotted to such candidates will be cancelled and shall be treated vacant. The registration fee of such candidates, after deduction of administrative charges with a rate of Rs 2000 per round of counselling in which the candidate has participated, shall be refunded online in the same account(as provided by the candidate).

The Candidate who could not be allotted any seat Those candidates who could not be allotted any seat in this round on the basis of the choices filled by them will have to choose one of the following options:

  • A. FLOAT Option: If a candidate wants to be considered for upgradation of seat in 2 nd Round of Counselling on the basis of his/her already filled choices, should opt for the FLOAT option.
  • B. WITHDRAW Option: If a candidate does not want to be considered for allotment in any subsequent rounds of counselling, should opt for the WITHDRAW option. The candidates, who opt this WITHDRAW option, will be treated to have withdrawn from ALL the remaining rounds of counselling and he will be able to participate only in the SPOT round of counselling. The Full Registration Fee (without any deduction) submitted by such candidates shall be refunded online in the same account (as provided by the candidate).
  • Important Note: If such candidate does not choose any of the above option during the specified period, he/she will be treated to have opted for ”FLOAT” and shall be automatically considered for next round (2nd round) of counselling.

UPSEE 2017 Second Round of Counselling –

In this round, the vacant seats of the subcategory shall be merged into respective vertical categories. Thus, subcategories GL/AF/FF/PH seats will cease to exist from this round onward. However, main categories GEN/OBC/SC/ST shall remain into existence.

  • July 09 2017 Allotment of Result : Declared on the website upsee.nic.in seat allotment Result
  • July 09 2017- July 10, 2017 – Online Willingness by the candidate (Freeze, Float or Withdraw)
