Shri Akhilesh Yadav announces that UPTU will be renamed as Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University, Uttar Pradesh as tribute to Dr. Kalam. UP chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav Confirm this news by Posting it on Social Media Network that is on Facebook & Twitter. The Screenshot of the same is shown below. On Facebook Akhilesh Yadav Posted that “As a Tribute to Dr. Kalam UPTU will be renamed as Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University”.
This is not the first time UPTU is changing its name. earlier also UPTU Splits into two Parts when as GBTU (Gautam Budh Technical University, Uttar Pradesh) [for Lucknow Region] & MTU (Mahamaya Technical University) [for Noida region] under Mayawati BSP Government. When Akhilesh Yadav SP Goverment came they again merged both the university under one Banner/Brand as UPTU i.e GBTU + MTU = UPTU. And Now, UPTU is going to rename as Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University as tribute to Dr. Kalam ___/\___
