Engineers Corner has been around since 2010. What started as a small corner of the internet for engineering students at AKTU has grown into something much bigger, covering entrance exams, university results, technology news, gadget reviews, cybersecurity, and more. Over these years, one thing has stayed constant: we publish information that students and readers can actually rely on.
This page explains how we work, how we source our content, and what we do when something goes wrong.
Who We Are
Engineers Corner is an independent platform founded and run by Yatharth Singh, an Electronics and Communication Engineering graduate from AKTU (formerly UPTU), Uttar Pradesh. There is no parent company, no investor board, and no college or institution paying us to push their agenda. What you read here is written by people who have studied engineering, followed these exams, and genuinely care about the community this platform was built for.
How We Source Information
For exam results, notifications, circulars, admit cards, and official announcements, we source directly and only from official portals. This means the respective university websites, NTA portals, state board official sites, and government education portals. We do not republish results from third-party aggregators or unverified sources.
Before publishing any result update or exam notification, we verify the information against the official source. If something cannot be confirmed from an official portal, we do not publish it as confirmed, we clearly state when information is unconfirmed or based on expected timelines from previous years.
For technology articles, gadget reviews, and cybersecurity news, we source from official company announcements, primary research, credible technology publications, and where applicable, our own hands-on experience with products and tools.
Our AI-Powered Tools
Engineers Corner offers free tools including a GATE Score Analyzer, JEE Main Rank Predictor, AKTU SGPA/CGPA Calculator, BHU SET Cutoff Predictor, and others. These tools are built on historical data and official formulas. They are designed to help students get an indicative estimate, not a guaranteed outcome.
We are transparent about this on every tool page. Actual results, ranks, and cutoffs are determined by the respective examination authorities. Our tools are a guide, not a substitute for official information.
Corrections Policy
We get things wrong sometimes. Exam dates shift, results get delayed, official portals update their data and occasionally we publish something that turns out to be incorrect or outdated. When that happens, we correct it.
If you find an error on any page factual, numerical, or otherwise write to us at info@engineerscorner.in with the specific detail and the correct source. We review every correction request seriously. If the correction is valid, we update the article and note the change where appropriate.
We do not silently delete incorrect content. We correct it and keep the record honest.
Advertising and Commercial Independence
Engineers Corner earns revenue through display advertising. Advertisers have no influence over our editorial content. A brand advertising on our site does not receive favorable coverage, positive reviews, or any form of editorial benefit because of that relationship.
For gadget and technology reviews if a product is sent to us for review, we mention that in the article. Our assessment of the product remains independent regardless of how we received it.
We do not publish paid articles without clearly labeling them as sponsored content.
Guest Posts
We occasionally publish guest contributions. Guest posts go through the same editorial review as our own content. We check sources, verify claims, and edit for accuracy before anything goes live. A guest author’s name on a piece means they wrote it it does not mean we have independently verified every claim beyond our standard review process. Readers should apply the same judgment they would to any piece of editorial content.
Use of AI in Content Creation
We use AI tools as part of our research and writing workflow. However, all published content on Engineers Corner is reviewed, edited, and verified by a human before it goes live. AI-generated text is never published as-is. Final editorial judgment including accuracy checks, sourcing, and tone — always rests with our human team.
