As per the latest report, Pradeep Kumar Mishra has been appointed the new VC of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow. Pradeep Kumar Mishra is a vice chancellor (VC) at Jharkhand University of Technology, Ranchi and he has been appointed as a vice chancellor of AKTU, Lucknow.
Prof Pradeep Kumar Mishra will replace the acting VC of AKTU Vineet Kansal additional charge when the ex VC Prof Vinay Kumar Pathak left and he was made VC of CSJMU, Kanpur. Under Vinay Kumar Pathak AKTU went to a new heights, now let’s welcome and see how it goes with the new VC of AKTU Prof Pradeep Kumar Mishra. The new VC is appointed amid the student protest to conduct online semester examination due to covid-19 (coronavirus) and new variant omicron fear.
Prof Pradeep Kumar Mishra did B.Tech in chemical engineering from IIT-Roorkee in 1986 .He also obtained an M.Tech degree from IIT-Mumbai, after that he did Phd in chemical engineering from IIT BHU in 1995. He has done a number of research work in the fields of bio energy, bio compatible polymers and nano fiber, bio degradation, Entrepreneurship etc. Prior to this Pradeep Kumar Mishra was a vice chancellor (VC) at Jharkhand University of Technology, Ranchi and now he will be working a VC of AKTU.
