Uttar Pradesh Technical University Formely known as UPTU is again in the news regarding mercy paper in UPTU. Recently many of the UPTU Students Protested in front of UPTU, Lucknow. as UPTU is busy in the counselling session of UPSEE but The students of UPTU are also having Exam. So, Student was Protesting in front of UPTU for undergo of Mercy Paper for the Students whose status is showing failed. These Students were Failed in any of their subject due to wrong checking by UPTU or whatever be the reason & now they want to conduct a Mercy paper for them. After seeing the Protest UPTU Authority took decision to give them a 15 no. as Grace marks, But the same had not yet applied. The UPTU authority said that they need to get the approval from the Academic Council meeting of UPTU & after that they will release the official Notice regarding the mercy paper of UPTU & also they will give 15 no. Grace marks. The Grace Marks which will be Given to students is 15 marks Grace.
Students after meeting the Vice-Chancellor of UPTU said that we get the official date 28th June 2014 on which the UPTU Academic Council meeting is to be held & Take decision on conducting Mercy paper exam in UPTU. Actually Most of the Students got low marks in subject & they get Carry Over/back/PCP as well as Failed status on their Result, if UPTU will give them a 15 no. Grace marks they will be eligible in mercy paper of UPTU. The Academic Council of UPTU will take decision on Mercy paper or say Mercy Exam & Grace marks on 28th June 2014 & release the official notice. After Getting assurance from the UPTU authorities & Vice- Chancellor the students left after the Protest.

My name is saurabh. i belongs from 2009 batch but unfortunatelly one carryover paper is still going on. In june 2015 it was my 6th year of my engineering but unfortunatelky i could not clear that particular subject. What should i do?? Is there any chances to conduct mercy paper in upcomming october or november? What is the best solution to overcome from this problem? Please help me.
