The Zenfone Max Pro M1 very sleek and comfortable, the phone is designed beautifully and makes a good grip in hand. It comes with Full HD+ 5.99-inch screen. It has an 18:9 aspect ratio and resolution of 1080×2160 with no notch. The same display sports by Redmi Note 5 as well. So, there is not much difference in terms of display.

This processor has optimized for better performance of budget-oriented smartphone by Qualcomm. After using this phone, the performance of the phone was good and upto the mark. The Redmi Note 5 is powered by the old Snapdragon 625 chipset which was launched in 2017 and it lags in terms of performance.

Whereas, Redmi Note 5 has a single 12 MP rear camera with dual LED flash and front camera with 5 MP and LED flash.

The ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 has the best thing that it runs on pure stock Android 8.1 Oreo which makes its user interface very easy. The Zenfone Max Pro also has a face unlock feature along with the fingerprint unlock. ASUS promised that it will provide Android P update as well.
Whereas The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat based on MIUI 9 with custom UI which lacks many Android 8 features and user experience.
