BHU SET 2025: Expected Dates and CHS School Entrance Exam Details

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is anticipated to release the School Entrance Test (SET) 2025 bulletin soon. This entrance test is a key opportunity for students seeking admission to Classes 6, 9, and 11 at BHU’s Central Hindu Boys’ School (CHBS) and Central Hindu Girls’ School (CHGS).

BHU SET 2025: Expected Dates and CHS School Entrance Exam:-

Bulletin Release: The BHU SET 2025 bulletin is expected to be available in the first or second week of February 2025.
Application Form: The application process is likely to start in mid-February 2025 and will continue until mid-March 2025. Candidates are advised to submit their applications online through the official BHU website before the deadline.
Entrance Exam: The BHU SET 2025 exam is anticipated to be held in the second or third week of April 2025.
Admit Card: The admit cards are expected to be released by the first week of April 2025, and candidates will be able to download them from the official website.
Result Declaration: The results are likely to be announced in the first or second week of June 2025.

This expected dates are for all class 6th, 9th and 11th Maths, Biology, Arts and Commerce Group. The Exam expected dates which will be conducted in April and May 2025 and exam timings will be morning 08:00 AM to 10:00 AM

Eligibility Criteria:

Students who wish to apply for BHU SET 2025 must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Class 6 Admission: Candidates must be between 10 and 12 years old as of September 30, 2025.
Class 9 Admission: Candidates should be between 13 and 15 years old as of September 30, 2025, and must have passed Class 8 from a recognized school.
Class 11 Admission: Candidates must be between 16 and 18 years old as of September 30, 2025, and should have passed Class 10 from a recognized board with the required percentage of marks.

Exam Pattern:

The BHU SET 2025 exam will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering subjects relevant to the class the candidate is applying for. The test duration will be 2 hours, and the subjects tested will include:

For Class 6: English, Hindi, Mathematics, Social Science, and General Science.
For Class 9: English, Hindi, Mathematics, Social Science, and General Science.
For Class 11: The exam subjects will vary depending on the stream chosen (Science, Commerce, or Arts).

Application Process:

The application process for BHU SET 2025 is expected to be entirely online. Candidates must register on the BHU portal, fill out the application form, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee. It is advisable to keep a copy of the filled application form and payment receipt for future reference.

BHU SET 2025 Entrance Exam Fee

The Candidate shall pay the following Application Processing Fee/Entrance Test Fee:

SC/ST = Rs 550.00
General/OBC/Others = Rs 800.00

MODE OF PAYMENT OF APPLICATION PROCESSING/ENTRANCE TEST FEE:

Candidate is required tofil up the SET- 2024 Application Form ONLINE as the printed Information Bulletin cum- Application Form will not be sold by the University. After the candidate has filled up the Application as online, he/she will have the following options for payment of Application Processing/Entrance Test – Online payment through credit card/ debit card through the payment gateway available on the Entrance Test Portal

BHU CHS SET Exam 2025 – Admit Card Updates:-

Admit Card related information will be emailed to the candidate at the email address provided by the candidate in the application form. SMS alert regarding issue of Admit Card on the mobile phone registered by the candidate will also be sent. Therefore, the candidates are advised to give correct email address/mobile phone numbers for correspondence while filling up the online Application Form.

Alternatively, Candidates can download the ADMIT CARD from the BHU Entrance Test Portal (www.bhuonline.in) by providing the unique code alloted to them at the time of online submission of Application Form. if a candidate is unable to download the Admit Card till a week before the date of the Test, he/she should contact the Central Hindu Girls’ School Office on Phone No. 0542-2398170.

BHU SET-2025 Important Notes:

Reservation Policy: BHU follows the reservation policy as per government norms. Details regarding reservation categories, percentage, and required documents will be available in the official bulletin.
Counseling Process: After the results are declared, selected candidates will be called for counseling based on their merit rank. The counseling process is expected to begin in the third week of June 2025.
