Hero Electric unveils e-scooter, e-tipper and e-dumper with Li-ion Battery Technology

After the odd-even campaign in Delhi, Now Here Electric is constantly pushing themselves in making environment green and as a step towards the same direction, Today Hero electric launched a High and low speed scooter in lithium ion battery technology and also unveils electric Tipper/Dumper. The Two e-scooter launched is Hero Optima + and Hero Photon. These products by Hero Electric were unveiled on 29th January 2016 at Le Meridian Sovereign Hall. Satyendra Jain, The Minister of Health and Industry Naveen Munjal, MD, Hero Eco and Sohinder Gill, CEO, Global Hero Eco were the chief guest on the occasion.

Commenting on this occasion and in an interview with Sohinder Gill, CEO, Global Hero Eco said “We are coming up with a new li-ion technology batteries for greener cities. Pollution in the city is adversely affecting many people and growing day by day and taking that in mind with the help of Delhi Government we are happy to launch our brand new e-scooter and e-tipper/dumper.”

“We are also in talk with the Delhi Government to make Zero VAT in Delhi to make it cost effective and support electric scooters to help save environment. The Lithium ion batteries are new technology which are made by third party companies like Sony, Panasonic etc which have 5 years of battery life with no maintenance like in petrol or diesel vehicle. Also we have 8 Charging station installed in entire Delhi and 2 more charging station will be coming soon in East Delhi. He further added.

Speaking on the launch Naveen Munjal, Managing Director, Hero Eco Group said ” We are extremely thrilled t o introduce Hero Eco’s world leading German Technology in India through our new products. We are committed to our vision to provide green mobility to the country and look forward in developing Indian EV market.”

Let’s Talk about the e-scooters and e-tipper/dumper with review, price, range etc.

Hero Electric Optima + :

Hero Optima + comes with a price tag of Rs 54,000/- and on full charge it can travel upto 90 Km. The Top Speed of Optima + is 25 km/hr.
The Top speed of the Hero Optima + is a negative point for the customers as it will hardly cross 20 km while driving this scooter. it do saves your petrol and diesel expenses but somewhere down the line the speed is compromised.

Hero Electric Photon :

Hero Photon comes with a price tag of Rs  88,000/- and the top speed of Hero Photon scooter is 45 km/hr.
This scooters looks quite good as compare to optima +. we may soon seee a price drop in future soon to attract more customers.

Hero E-Tipper/Dumper :

The E- Tipper/dumper comes with a payload capacity of 250 kg and is priced at Rs 1.75 lakh. Hero also launches another variant of 500 kg tipper.
