Microsoft officially launched its Surface Pro 4 and the older Surface Pro 3 hybrid devices at its event in New Delhi. Microsoft has partnered exclusively with Amazon.in, which means you can buy Surface Pro 4 only on Amazon.
It comes with three different hardware configurations,
-6th gen Core i5 with 4GB RAM and 128 GB SSD for Rs 89,990
-6th gen Core i5 with 8GB RAM and 256 GB SSD for Rs 1,20,990
-6th gen Core i7 with 8GB RAM and 256 GB SSD for Rs 1,44,990
Microsoft has also set up experience centres at Delhi (in CP), Noida (in GIP), Gurgaon (in Ambience mall), Bengaluru (Phoenix Market City) and Mumbai (near Opera House). Customers can order a maximum of three devices on Amazon.in
The Surface Pro 4 runs on the latest Windows 10 operating system. It sports a 12.3-inch Pixel Touch Display (2736*1824 pixels) at 3:2 aspect ratio. On the connectivity front, the Surface Pro 4 offers a USB 3.0 port, Micro-SD card reader, 3.5 mm Headphone port, Mini Display Port, Surface Keyboard cover Port and Surface connect port. It includes an 8MP rear camera and an 5MP Front camera with Dolby Stereo Support. Microsoft claims 8hrs. of battery life and weighs just under 800 grams.
The Surface Pro 4 comes with the Surface Pen in Silver colour option only. But the Surface keyboard cover has to be purchased separately for Rs. 12,490. It comes in blue and black colours only.
Talking about the after sale service, Microsoft will not repair anything that happens to your device within the warranty period of 365 days, they will actually replace it for free.
Final review- Can be said value for money device, and like always, Microsoft will not let its customers let down. The specs are quite attractive and we found the device ok in every aspect.
