AKTU has officially announced the grace marks rule for final year students. The 40 Marks grace will be applicable for B.Tech final year (4th-year students). AKTU Registrar KK Chaudhary released a official circular saying that all the final year student of the year graduated in 2015-16 or previous year graduated students can get the benefit of grace marks in any subject. if the final year students have carry over in end semester or any carry over in previous semester than those students can take the benefit of 40 marks grace from this year.
He also stated that grace marks might be awarded only in those subject in which the candidate has secured at least 15% marks in the end semester theory exam. He further added that such candidate who is having carry over with the highest marks obtained by the candidate in any subject in various attempts shall be considered.
Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU / UPTU) took this decision in a recent 52nd academic council meeting to give grace marks facility to all the students of AKTU affiliated college to pass the exam. The grace marks will be given only to courses like B.Tech, B,Pharma, BCA,MBA,MCA, B.Arch, BHMCT, B.Fad etc except ( M.Tech, M.Pharma and M.Arch.)
So, finally, AKTU/UPTU has taken this step to help out all the final year students to get the advantage of grace marks and pass the subject if he/she has got at least 15 marks out of 100 that is 15% marks. If you have any query regarding AKTU Grace Marks, please comment below.
Yes. The 40 marks grace rule introduced by AKTU in 2016-17 continues to be applicable for B.Tech students. The rule allows students to receive up to 40 marks grace across all years of their degree, provided they score a minimum of 15 marks in the subject.
A student must score at least 15 marks (15%) in the end semester theory exam to be eligible for grace marks under the AKTU 40 marks grace rule.
PWG stands for “Pass With Grace.” When a student’s result is updated after grace marks are applied, their status changes from Fail to PWG in the AKTU One View portal.

Yatharth ji clear the picture for the students who have taken admission in year 2005 .. Their is 1-1 back paper in 1st year n 2nd year i.e year 2005-2006 ( 10 marks short ) & 2006-2007( 13 marks short ) respectively.

As per the new rule everyone is eligible for grace marks if he/she has at least 15% marks. Please check your result in one view if your division still shows not awarded and grace marks has been awarded then plz contact AKTU with your application and get your marksheet.

I had 2 backs in first year in M1 and M2 obtaining 25 and 14 marks respectively.I have never had a back from thereon and have never availed any grace marks any year. Most probably I'll obtain grace marks in M1 but what about M2 will they give 16 there or will they leave it by 1 mark?

As per the AKTU grace marks rule you have to get at least 15 marks out of 100 marks not less than that, then only you can avail grace marks in that subject. Unfortunately, you will not get grace for M2 (Maths 2).
