From the past three months, we are getting lots of requests, emails, comments, calls, etc. about the UPTU Special Carry Over Paper Exam 2016. In this regard, we would like to share you some important information regarding Special Carry Over Exam 2016.
Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) every year conducts special carry over exam 2016. Now, Let me tell you weather UPTU is going to conduct this year special carry over exam or not.
Well, as per our sources the B.Tech Final year (4th year) students should not worry about the SCOP because it’s 100% confirm that AKTU will conduct a Mercy Exam 2016 for all the final year students. AKTU gives a chance to final year students to clear paper if they have any backs/carry paper in 7th or 8th semesters. If any final year student have back or carry over paper in 1st, 2nd or 3rd year subjects then these papers will not be included in mercy exam. Please note that because students get confused in this case. If any 4th year students have backs in 1st year, 2nd year or 3rd year subjects then they have to appear in special carry over examination.
There is a chance of Special Carry Over Exam for 1st year, 2nd year and 3rd year but not 100% because last year also when students started a strike at UPTU / AKTU campus and there were lots of failed students then UPTU decided to give a chance to them to clear the subjects along with final year students.
The AKTU / UPTU Special Carry Over 2016 press release will be available on our website in the month of august 2016. In the 2nd week of August students will get a notice regarding special carry over exam 2016 or mercy exam 2016. The Special Carry Over Forms will be available from 18th August 2016 (most probably, if exam conducted ). The cost of the special carry over (SCOP) form is Rs 750/- only. The exam may be conducted in the month of September 2016 or with odd sem that is in December or January 2016-17

It's not on my hand to conduct the special carry over paper. AKTU reserves all right to conduct the exam or not to. but I'll try to give you all the latest update on this for sure.
