Synology Solution Day 2024 wrapped up successfully, drawing over 600 IT professionals who gathered at Sofitel Mumbai BKC on October 23 to explore Synology’s latest data management, storage, and security solutions. Attendees included representatives from Fortune 500 companies and top industry players across India. Synology introduced innovative, scalable data solutions, advanced backup appliances with enhanced security, flexible AI-powered surveillance options, and productivity tools designed to improve business resilience and drive efficiency.

Russell Chen, Synology’s Country Manager for the SAARC region, expressed gratitude for the industry’s positive reception, stating, “Over the past three years, Synology has seen annual growth of 20% in India across sectors like manufacturing, government, public services, and media, reflecting our ability to meet evolving industry needs.”

The event highlighted Synology’s newest solutions, like the ActiveProtect series, designed to simplify deployment across multi-server environments with advanced ransomware protection and data retention features. Their new Scale-out Solution offers seamless scalability, supporting both file and object storage, making it ideal for enterprises needing flexible, high-capacity data management. Synology also presented C2 Surveillance Station, a cloud-based surveillance platform with edge AI and multi-layer encryption for secure, efficient monitoring.

Synology’s Office Suite received notable updates, including GenAI-driven tools to boost productivity and streamline workflows, creating a collaborative, intuitive workspace for teams.

Industry Leaders Share Real-World Success Stories

Industry experts like Mr. Vivek Suresh Patil from ProstarM Info System Ltd and Mr. Gaurav Sachan from LEAD School shared success stories, highlighting Synology’s role in enhancing data organization and streamlining operations. “Managing data across our 18 branches has been incredibly efficient with Synology,” said Mr. Patil, while Mr. Sachan noted how Synology’s solutions simplify the management of extensive educational content.

Ms. Khyati Luthia from Shaparia, Mehta & Luthia, Chartered Accountants, praised Synology’s integrated backup capabilities and cost-efficient licensing model, which helps secure sensitive data with scheduled backups, versioning, and snapshot replication across servers.
