• For Sub Inspector (SI) Male – 1652 Posts
• For Sub Inspector (SI) Female – 412 Posts

Pay Scale & Salary (for UP Police SI Posts) – 

• Sub Inspector (Male) – Rs 9300 – Rs34,800, Grade Pay – Rs 4200/-
• Sub Inspector (Female) – Rs 9300 – Rs34,800, Grade Pay – Rs 4200/-

The Salary is same for both male and female for UP Police sub inspector job.

Eligibility Criteria/Qualification – 

• Minimum 50% Marks in Graduation from any recognized University/College
• Height – 168cm (Male), 152cm (Female) {SC/ST candidates have some relaxation of 160cm & 147cm respectively}
• Chest – 79cm (in Normal) & 84cm (when increased) – MALE
• Race – 4.8 km in 28 minutes for Male and 2.4 km in 16 minutes for female.
• Age- 21 to 28 year, yes there is relaxation for OBC & SC/ST Candidates.
