The most awaited german car engineered Volkswagen Taigun SUV launched in India today at an introductory price range of Rs 10.49-17.49 lakhs to competed the likes of market leader Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. Volkswagen Taigun top-end version of the car is priced at Rs 17.49 lakh, The Taigun’s top model is packed with all lastest features like fully-digital instrumentation, connected 10-inch infotainment, ambient lighting, sun roof, auto-dimming inside mirrors, 6 air bags, front seat ventilation, wireless charging, hill hold control and cooled glovebox.
The Volkswagen Taigun is being made in India at chakan facility in Pune under the Volkswagen Group India 2.0 program. This year Volkswagen group Skoda Auto India had also entered the segment with the launch of Kushaq in the same price segment. Taigun is offered with 2 petrol engine options – 1.5-litre TSI & 1.0-litre TSI.
