Engineering is an application of Mathematics as well as Science. In the field of Engineering, the evergreen trade is Electrical Engineering. Electrical Engineering is the core of Engineering. With the development of technology, our citizen life also gets standardized. In every moment of our life, electricity has major impact. We cannot think about our modern life without electricity. The generation of electricity is the most important tasks to retain our standard life. To do this important task, the required professionals are Electrical Engineers. Nowadays without electricity, a drop of water cannot be found in standardized citizen life. Due to heavy demand of electricity, there arises the necessity of Electrical Engineers. So, there are available jobs for the students studying Electrical Engineering. This branch of Engineering deals generation of power and transmission of power and distribution of power. Besides it also relates testing, processing and maintaining of instruments, used in domestic and industrial purposes.
Academic Bachelor Degrees provided in India are B.Tech. or B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
In previously, government engineering universities are used to provide B.E. degree. Nowadays, all engineering universities are providing B.Tech. degree.
- This bachelor degree has duration of 4 years.
- Contains generally 8 Semester examination in the interval of 6 months.
- Contains 16-20 internal examination in total course.
The students are planning their future as Engineering must have to crack entrance examination for engineering. For Electrical Engineering also same entrance should be passed.
How to become an Electrical Engineer:
To appear in entrance for this stream, the students must have to study Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects in 12th standard in School.
After the entrance examination completion, the successful student will sit for counselling. In the time of counselling, students can choose their colleges for Electrical Engineering.
- JEE Main
- JEE Advance
- BCECE, etc.
